Brew Day pt. 13- the finished wort
Josh is holding the sample tube. We ended up with a gravity of 1.070, 3 points higher than expected. We missed our volume by 1 gallon due to hop absorption (we used a 8.5 ounces of leaf and pellets combined), which isn't the end of the world. That means we have to try again soon! I hope you all enjoyed this brewday live blog. Someday soon I'll have a live webcast of the whole proceedings.
Brew Day pt. 12- Cold hands
Notice that our hands are pink. That's what happens when you repeatedly stick them in very cold water. All in the name of beer.
